The former Royal Palace is open every Tuesday
În January, the former Royal Palace is re-open every Tuesday between 10.00 and 18.00.
The Throne Hall, the Royal Dining Room and the Voïvods’ Stairs resonate deeply with the history of the Romanian monarchy under Kings Carol II and Mihai I. Used for official functions, the spaces were decorated by well-known contemporary Romanian artists such as Arthur Verona, Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck (the two ceilings), Cornel Medrea (bas-reliefs), Nicolae Tonitza, Iosif Iser, Rudolf-Schweitzer-Cumpăna, Ștefan Popescu, and Ion Theodorescu-Sion, to name only some of them.
